Egress, the leading provider of people-centric data security solutions, today announces its acceptance onto the G-Cloud 11 Framework, the UK Government’s programme committed to encouraging the adoption of cloud-based services across the Public Sector. Having successfully supported G-Cloud since its inception, the latest iteration represents the first-time organisations will be able to buy Egress Prevent on the platform.
Designed to help government organisations access the latest, leading edge cloud-based technology, G-Cloud 11 features more than 4,000 suppliers, offering over 30,000 solutions. This represents a rise of almost 25%, reflecting the growing importance of the framework as a procurement route for UK Government.
By adding Egress Prevent to the Egress offering, organisations will benefit from an enhanced email protection solution that creates a ‘data security safety net’, helping people prevent emails being sent to the wrong people, as well as minimising the risk of accidental or malicious data breaches.
Additional email protection capabilities include:
• The use of machine learning to analyse the level of risk when data is shared via email
• The application of suitable levels of security, including Egress Protect
• Understanding of historical email communications in order to protect against sharing sensitive content with the wrong recipients
• Increased adoption of security solutions for improved compliance and ROI
