London, UK – February 27th, 2024 – Leading cybersecurity company Egress has been announced as a finalist at the British HR Awards 2024 for Innovation of the Year for its unique eFlex employee benefit.
EFlex was introduced to all Egress employees 18 months ago in response to feedback around flexible working. EFlex provides employees with an additional 15 days of leave to use as they like; bitesize flexes allow each employee to take two hours back each week and supersize flexes give six paid half-days off each year at short notice, all on top of a team member’s annual leave. People who take regular breaks from work are generally happier, more productive, and better able to manage their mental and physical health and well-being, which is why eFlex is such a revolutionary benefit.
The British HR Awards 2024 sets out to discover and celebrate the organizations and individuals that are truly passionate about delivering a world-class people experience.
This year, just over 300 entries were received from organizations across the UK, so competition to be named a finalist proved to be especially tough. Firms taking part range from start-up innovators to public sector heroes, tech superstars to global titans.
Laura Probert, Chief People Officer at Egress, comments:
“The addition of eFlex to our benefits package was a revelation, and we’re thrilled to be recognized by the British HR Awards. Egress’ purpose is to innovate, not just with our products, but also our company culture, and to be listed with such inspiring companies is an honor. We’re looking forward to April 16th when the winners will be announced, and we’ll be celebrating our fantastic team.”
Nate Harwood, Founder of New Possible and British HR Awards judge, comments:
"With a 40% increase in the number of entries this year, judging was both a great privilege and a real challenge. Congratulations to all the finalists who have demonstrated the passion, commitment, and talent at the beating heart of British HR."
