London - February 2018 - Data privacy and risk management company Egress Software Technologies has announced today the appointment of new senior team members including Tim Pickard as chief marketing officer (CMO), Sudeep Venkatesh as chief product officer (CPO), and Mark Bower as chief revenue officer (CRO). These appointments will further facilitate Egress’ impressive growth, the development of its product portfolio, and support its increasing presence in North America. The company has also recently relocated its headquarters to The White Collar Factory, Old Street, London in order to better accommodate its rapid expansion.
New Egress CMO, Tim Pickard, has previously held senior executive roles at companies including RSA Security, Mimecast and New Voice Media, and his track record of high performance in areas such as corporate strategy, marketing, sales, and communications will provide Egress with additional support to achieve its high-growth ambitions.
Tim commented: “I’m delighted to have joined such a focused and ambitious company, with foundations built on technical innovation and proven delivery. With a heightened data security threat and greater pressure on organisations to meet regulatory compliance requirements than ever before, Egress is well placed to help organisations protect their data and mitigate risk through our focus on user centric data security.”
CPO, Sudeep Venkatesh, has previously held senior sales product management positions with RSA Security, Voltage Security and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, experience that will be put to use in supporting the company’s vision for product expansion and high revenue growth.
Finally, Mark Bower will be joining the team as CRO with three decades of IT product design and management experience from Sydney to Cupertino. Joining the team from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he worked as the global director for product management in the data security division, Mark will be spearheading Egress’ growth plans for its North American operation, where it already has a presence in Boston and Toronto.
“We work in a rapidly changing environment, and it’s critical for us to hire the right expertise that will both help us build an ambitious and forward-looking vision, and execute it successfully,” said Tony Pepper, CEO of Egress. “I’m thrilled to be welcoming our three new team members, who each bring great experience to Egress, and I look forward to working closely with them in our mission to help business better protect the valuable data they hold.”
